Arrival and Fun Run [16 pictures]

The first couple of days are spent in Kathmandu preparing for the trek and race, having briefings and meeting group leaders and doctors. We also have an optional 10Km fun run for those who want to take part. |

Whilst in Kathmandu there is the option to go on various sightseeing trips around the city. |

Kathmandu to Namche [34 pictures]

|
After Kathmandu we fly to Lukla before a two day trek to Namche Bazaar, the finish line of the race. |

Namche and the Thamo Loop [32 pictures]

|
We spend a couple of nights in Namche Bazaar acclimatising to the altitude. This gives people time to explore the Thamo Loop, the last 6 miles of the course. |

Trek to Gokyo [42 pictures]

Before heading towards the race start at Gorak Shep we have an excursion up the Gokyo Valley. As well as offering stunning views this part of the trek is designed to help people to acclimatise ready for the race itself. |

Trek to Gorak Shep [36 pictures]

After Gokyo we return to Khumjung before starting the trek up to the race start line at Gorak Shep. During this part of the trek we are following the race route for most of the time. |
